Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of the Chart Coach app and website (together, "Chart Coach"), published by Dmitry Dubovetskyi, an individual developer based in Ukraine ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Chart Coach you agree to these terms, to our privacy policy, and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, these terms apply to the extent the Apple EULA allows. Apple is not a party to these terms and isn't responsible for Chart Coach or its content.

1. Not financial advice

Chart Coach is an educational tool. Nothing in it is financial, investment, trading, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any asset.

• Reports are generated automatically by artificial intelligence from the image or wallet history you provide. The AI can misread a chart, miss information, or be confidently wrong. It only sees what's in your image, has no live market data, and knows nothing about your finances, goals or risk tolerance.
• Verdicts such as "Long", "Short" or "Hold", confidence scores, price levels, entries, stops, targets, scores and action items are opinions for learning purposes, not predictions or promises. Past performance, including the history of any wallet, doesn't indicate future results.
• We are not a broker, exchange, investment adviser or fiduciary, and no advisory or fiduciary relationship arises from your use of Chart Coach. We don't execute trades, hold funds or access your wallets.
• Trading crypto-assets, stocks, funds, forex, commodities and derivatives, especially with leverage, carries a high risk of loss, including more than your initial investment for some products. You alone decide whether and how to trade, and you're solely responsible for those decisions and their results. Consider independent professional advice.

2. Who can use Chart Coach

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. Chart Coach is not intended for anyone younger. You need an account, created with Sign in with Apple or an email code. Your account is personal: keep access to your Apple ID and email secure, and tell us at hello@chartcoach.app if you think someone else has used your account.

3. The service

• Chart analysis: you take a photo of a chart or pick a screenshot, and Chart Coach returns an AI-generated report (for example a verdict with confidence, trend, momentum, volatility, volume, support and resistance levels, patterns, a trade plan and risks).
• Wallet trade review: you enter a public wallet address on a supported network (currently Hyperliquid, Solana, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum). Chart Coach reads that address's public on-chain history, computes trading statistics, and writes an AI coaching review. It's read-only: Chart Coach never asks for private keys, seed phrases or signatures and can't move funds. On-chain data from third-party providers may be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and prices or profit figures may be estimates.
• Your past scans and reviews are saved to your account so you can reopen or delete them.

Fair-use limits on the number of analyses, wallet reviews and saved wallets apply to prevent abuse; they're well above normal personal use. We may improve, change or discontinue features. If we remove a core feature you've paid for, you can cancel and, where the law requires it, ask Apple for a pro-rata refund.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• Chart Coach requires a paid subscription. There is no free trial and no free version. Without an active subscription you can sign in, manage or restore your subscription, and delete your account, but not use the features.
• Plans are weekly ($7.99) or yearly ($49.99) in the US. Prices vary by country and currency, may include taxes, and are always shown in the app before you buy.
• Purchases are made through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. Apple's terms and the Apple Media Services Terms apply to payment.
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iPhone's Settings › your name › Subscriptions, or from the App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your Chart Coach account does not cancel your subscription.
• If we change the price of a subscription, Apple notifies you in advance and, where required, asks for your consent before the new price applies.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; you can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves. This doesn't affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

5. Your content

Chart images, wallet addresses, labels and other content you submit remain yours. You give us a limited licence to store and process them, including through the service providers named in our privacy policy, only to provide Chart Coach to you. Only upload images you have the right to use, and don't include other people's personal information in them. The reports generated for you are yours to use for your own purposes, subject to section 1.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Chart Coach to:

• break the law, infringe anyone's rights, or upload unlawful, harmful or unrelated content;
• track, profile or harass identifiable people through their wallets;
• scrape, resell or redistribute reports or the service, or present Chart Coach output as personalised investment advice to others;
• probe, overload or disrupt our systems, get around usage limits or the paywall, or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

7. Intellectual property

Chart Coach, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. Apart from the licence in the Apple EULA to use the app, these terms don't give you any rights to it. Third-party trademarks, such as exchange or asset names, belong to their owners. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account anytime in the app (Profile › Delete account). This deletes your account and the data described in our privacy policy. It doesn't cancel an App Store subscription, so cancel that first. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or where the law requires it; unless the law prevents us, we'll tell you why.

9. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Chart Coach is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that it, its reports or any third-party data will be accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted or error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, including trading. Some countries don't allow these exclusions, so they may not all apply to you.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any trading or investment losses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of Chart Coach or reliance on its reports, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Chart Coach in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that can't be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for intent, gross negligence, fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer, including any legal guarantee that digital content and services conform to the contract.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring claims in the courts there. Before going to court, please contact us at hello@chartcoach.app so we can try to resolve the issue.

12. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to Chart Coach or the law. The date above shows the latest version. For material changes we'll give you reasonable notice in advance, for example in the app or by email. If you don't agree, you can stop using Chart Coach, cancel your subscription and delete your account.

13. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right right away, we haven't waived it. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a successor who takes over Chart Coach, without reducing your rights.
